I couldnt sleep lastnight as this weighed heavily on my mind, thoughts about where Human Beings place their values on Human Life. I never want to forget today, and how the story of these two young men – once criminals – turned their lives around to help others in their situation. They changed my perception – that rehabilitation is possible, especially as a youth. I was’nt the only one feeling this, as many Australians gathered together lastnight, holding out with Hope for “Mercy”. It has indeed been a dark day for human rights. And the best I could do was a little sketch to remember this day.
