Lifeguards and Dune Vegetation
Guardians of the Beach.
Inspired by our Gold Coast Lifeguard Towers and Native Dune vegetation.
I use a semi-abstract hand painted style , organically drawn shapes to
symbolise nature in the urban environment.
Lifeguards protect Beach users from the hazards of ocean swimming,
native dune vegetation stabilise our dune systems, protecting nearby
properties and beach users from wind and salt spray, and is a natural
shade tool. It is also valuable habitat for our native wildlife.
