
Creative Arts Life Skills
Creative Arts Projects provide the chance for everyone to express themselves, using art as a source of livelihood and also as a form of therapy.
Arts initiatives offer participants the platform to develop their creative potential and interact meaningfully, empowering individuals to seek out their creative voice and share in truly meaningful cultural exchanges.
CHARLEEN’s Creative Goal
Throughout the distance of time, Art has been used as a powerful advocacy tool to communicate stories. Art can also provide a vehicle for self-development and personal expression, in addition to the numerous benefits of using art as a therapeutic technique.
Art has played an integral role {Career} in my life. I want to share my knowledge & experience and give participants a tool that will allow them to tell the world, in a universal language, their desires, their dreams, their lives.
Aim
To offer a Fun, relaxed and safe environment, where participants can develop an awareness and understanding of various ‘Arts & Culture’ activities, by` offering creative opportunities for self-expression and personal choice, communication, and the sharing of cultural views.
Objectives
Through these Creative Activities, participants can develop sensory, tactile, manipulative, and technical skills and recognise the importance of representing meaning in their work. Participants will develop knowledge, understanding, skills, values, and attitudes that reflect their priorities, needs and interests.
Workshops may include but not limited to : –
Basic Computer Knowledge, Microsoft Word, Internet
Visual Arts, Design & Painting Techniques
Sewing & Understanding Patterns
Arts & Crafts Workshops
Music appreciation & Performance
Poetry, Writing, & Storytelling
Basic Photographic skills and editing.
Modern Australian & Multi- Cultural Cookery.
Kitchen Garden
Engaging in creative experiences such as:
– artmaking activities
– musical activities
– practical tasks and performances
– creative tasks/ discussions
– collaborations/group work
– visual displays / exhibitions
– responses using assistive technology – multimedia
Safe working practices
All Creative programs should be developed with consideration of safe working practices and environments as appropriate to the skills and technical requirements of forms. Participants will be encouraged to be aware of and consider the work health and safety procedures required for particular forms and materials. Work studios should be adequately ventilated, and materials recycled in a safe and environmentally friendly manner.

I am a good communicator with solid problem-solving skills, an efficient organizer with strong time management skills, and can adapt to high pressure environments. I take pride in who I am as a person and this reflects in my work, whether it be housekeeping & industrial cleaning, administration/reception duties, gallery assistant, grants writing, workshop facilitating, public speaking, arts & designing, researching, sales & marketing or anything else I take on. I believe in the integrity and professionalism of my work and strive to ensure that every aspect of what I do also upholds company core values.
